My eighth grade algebra teacher once told my class, "You can have bad moments, but never have a bad day." Those eleven words have changed my entire perspective on life. Bad moments are inevitable, but you do not have to let them define your entire day.
Every second you spend angry, sad, or worrying is a second wasted. There is far more beauty than ugly. It is your choice which to focus on, and it is your loss if you choose the latter.
It is not easy to keep a positive perspective when things are not going your way. Terrible things happen sometimes. But do not let those few moments effect your entire outlook on life.
